Glas Maol
Glas Maol stands at 1,068 m (3,504 ft). Although the flat summit is shared between Aberdeenshire, Angus and Perth, and Kinross, the highest point lies in Angus, making it the highest point in this county.
A layby can be found just off the A39, the highest public road in Scotland, located to the west of the mountain. Due to the high level of the road, this route makes for an easier ascent. The western slopes are also home to the Clenshee Ski Centre, the largest ski resort in Scotland.
