Goatfell
Goatfell stands at 874 metres (2,866 ft) tall. It is the highest point on the island of Arran and the surrounding jagged summit dominate surrounding area. It is one of four Corbetts on the Island, the mountain along with Brodick Castle are owned by the National Trust.
The most straightforward and popular route to the summit can be made from Cladach Visitor Centre where good footpaths lead up, with the final section weaving through granite boulders. More reading on Goat Fell can be found from the National Trust for Scotland leaflet
