Helvellyn
Helvellyn has an elevation of 950 m (3,117 ft) and is located in the beautiful English Lake District. It is the third highest point in England and making it to the summit is easier than the higher peaks of Scafell Pike and Sca Fell.
A total of five ridges diverge from the summit and the peak also has the accolade of being named ‘Britain’s Best Walk’ in a tv show presented by Julia Bradbury in 2018.
A popular, horseshoe, route starts in Glennridding. The trail takes you over Striding Edge, allowing for a knife-edge ridge scramble, providing some fantastic views.
