Snowdon
Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), which in old English means “Snow Hill”, is the highest mountain in Wales and the highest mountain in the UK outside of Scotland. It remains the busiest peak in the whole of the UK with half a million visitors annually.
There are a number of paths that can be used to reach the summit. At the summit, a café and mountain railway station can be found. Be mindful as the railway operates on a seasonal timetable. More information on the mountain railway can be found by visiting the link below:
